LAHORE: The recruitment process for the tribal forces, border military police, and Baloch Levies has been successfully completed after a 27-year hiatus, marking a significant step towards maintaining public order at the interprovincial Balochistan border in Punjab.

This recruitment drive is the first of its kind under the directive of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who ensured that the process was conducted with utmost transparency and merit.

A total of 10,236 applications were received from candidates vying for various positions, including riders, naiks, and other essential posts within the border military police and Baloch Levies in Dera Ghazi Khan. After a rigorous screening process, 771 candidates were shortlisted for interviews, with 325 being selected for the positions.
