Police recover three Sui gas officials

Heavy firing reported between law enforcement agencies and dacoits

SUKKUR: Kashmore Police have rescued three Sui gas officials, kidnapped 10 days ago, from bandits.

DIG Larkana Nasir Aftab Pathan said that Kashmore Police led by SSP Kashmore-Kandhkot Zubair Nazir Ahmed Shaikh during an ongoing operation recovered three employees of the Sui gas including Engineer Abdul Qayoom, Technician Zahid Abro and guard Asghar Rind from the riverine area of Karampur. The DIG said that the officers were kidnapped 10 days ago.

Respectively, six criminals were injured in a joint operation by police and Rangers against the Maarfani gang in the riverine area of Jaghan at Humayun police station. According to SSP Shikarpur Shahzeb Chachar, during the operation six dacoits of the Maarfani (Mamrani) gang were injured whereas three suspects, Saddam and two others, were also arrested.

Meanwhile, heavy firing reported between the law enforcement agencies and the dacoits. Given the situation, more personnel of the law enforcement agencies were rushed to the area to chase the escaping dacoits.
