Pakistan Pavilion shines at Hong Kong’s leather trade fair

KARACHI: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), in collaboration with the Consulate General of Pakistan in Hong Kong, is hosting the country’s participation at APLF 2025, a leading leather and fashion trade fair, from March 12-14.

The Pakistan Pavilion was inaugurated by Consul General Riaz Ahmed Shaikh alongside Hamid Arshad Zahur, chairman of the Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA), and other dignitaries. A total of 45 Pakistani exporters are participating, including 32 specialising in finished leather and 13 showcasing leather garments, bags and accessories. Exhibitors are displaying a range of high-value products, including finished leather from cow, buffalo, sheep and goat hides, as well as leather footwear, gloves and fashion accessories.

Shaikh praised the quality and presentation of Pakistani products, which have drawn interest from buyers in China and Hong Kong. He assured exhibitors of full support to enhance commercial outcomes and boost Pakistan’s leather exports.
