Speech post-Peca

The 2025 Peca amendments give the authorities more power to remove or block posts they do not approve of. Many people fear that it will limit our freedom of speech and make it harder to express opinions freely. Social media is a place where people share ideas, raise their voices against injustice, and stay informed about important issues. If the government starts censoring content, it could silence important discussions and make it difficult for people to know the truth. If this new law is misused, journalists, activists, and ordinary citizens might be punished just for sharing their thoughts. I request the authorities to reconsider this law. Instead of restricting speech, we should promote responsible and open discussions. Social media should not be used to spread hate, but it should also not be controlled unfairly.
