ISLAMABAD: The leadership of Jamiat Ulema e Islam (F) has conveyed its conditions and reservations about joining the opposition’s grand alliance.
According to the sources, the JUI-F leadership apprised ex-Speaker Asad Qaisar of conditions to join the grand alliance. The conditions also pertain to Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur.
Asad Qaisar did not talk to the KP Chief Minister, but he wanted to directly speak to the PTI founder on the issue. Secretary Information of PTI, Shaikh Waqas Akram told Geo News that JUI-F conveyed its reservations and any decision in response would be given on Imran Khan’s directives. The JUI-F spokesman Aslam Ghori reportedly has said that the party leadership was yet to take any formal decision to join the grand alliance.
Talking to Geo News, Asad Qaisar claimed that Maulana Fazalur Rehman has no problem with Ali Amin Gandapur, saying that they were just waiting for Imran Khan’s directions. On JUI-F’s demand of elections audit in Peshawar, Asad Qaisar said PTI seats from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa capital were also snatched. “ Anyone can hold elections audit,” he said.
