The Presidency, against its estimated budget of Rs743,253,000m used Rs749,253,000.While the Prime Minister’s Secretariat has spent Rs800,780,000 against the allocated amount of Rs779,355,000 i.e. the Prime Minister’s Office has spent more than allocated amount.
For the total allocations of Rs801,000,000 in the budget of President House, Rs535.90 million have been allocated for the staff and household of the president. The staff and household basically were those employees who provide their services for the Presidency that include butler, waiters and like other employees.
In the budget, Rs one million is in the head of salary of president, Rs800,000 in the head of presents and charity, Rs one million for the discretionary grant of president, Rs31,300,000 for maintenance of gardens, and Rs31,276,000 for state conveyance and motor cars.
For the staff and households for the Prime Minister’s Office, Rs88,488,000 has been allocated in the budget for the financial year 2015-16 against Rs70,011,000 allocated for the last financial year.
In the head of wages and household servants of the Prime Minister’s House, Rs575,500,000 have been allocated against Rs522,378,000 during the outgoing year, Rs44,070,000 has been allocated in state conveyance and motor cars while in last year Rs47,955,000 was utilised by the PM House.
An amount of Rs27,396,000 has been allocated for the Prime Minister’s Estate garden expenses while last year it was Rs25,265,000.For the Prime Minister’s Inspection Team, Rs62,000,000 has been allocated while last year it was Rs.57,456,000.
Meanwhile the Supreme Court of Pakistan budget has also been increased in the fiscal 2015-16 to Rs96.53 million.Last year, the Supreme Court of Pakistan budget was Rs1,206,470,000 while this fiscal it has been raised to Rs1,303,000,000. Employee related expenses were increased from Rs953,496,000 to Rs994,017,000, with an increase of Rs40,521,000.
Similarly, in the Islamabad High Court budget, Rs34.36 million have been increased as last year the budget of the IHC was Rs414,640,000 while this year Rs449,000,000 have been allocated.
