TDAP to host food manufacturing tech expo

KARACHI: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is organising FoodAg Manufacturing 2025, a three-day event at the Lahore Expo Centre, which will feature 35 international exhibitors from countries including China, South Korea, Turkey and Italy.

The event, running from February 26 to 28, will focus on cutting-edge food processing and packaging technologies.A significant contingent of South Korean and Chinese companies will be present, with dedicated pavilions displaying advanced food technology and sustainable solutions. The South Korean pavilion will feature 17 companies, while the Chinese pavilion will host 13.

The exhibition will also highlight Pakistan’s domestic agro-food sector, with 107 national companies participating, including a pavilion featuring 48 exhibitors from Pakistan Horticulture Development anf Export Company (PHDEC). Local packaging companies will also display their machinery and designs.

The event aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and business partnerships, with seminars and panel discussions led by national and international experts on topics such as food safety, market trends, and supply chain management. A ‘Hall of Fame’ will showcase pioneering advancements in food manufacturing by international exhibitors.

TDAP hopes the event will drive economic growth by bridging the gap between local businesses and international markets, encouraging the adoption of technological advancements and sustainable practices. The exhibition will also promote joint ventures and business collaborations.
