This refers to the letter ‘Freedom to park’ (February 21, 2025) by M Rafique Zakaria. Though rather belated, the decision by the Sindh government to abolish charged parking is a welcome step for the residents of Karachi.
The parking mafias are fleecing the ordinary citizens all over the country. Hopefully, the other provincial authorities will soon follow the suite by putting an end to unjust parking fees.
