VALENCIA: Spanish national police arrested two Valencia “ultras” in the town of Mislata on Sunday in conjunction with an incident last week in which three Villarreal supporters with disabilities were violently assaulted.

A group of Valencia fans attacked the Villarreal fans on February 15 after the sides drew 1-1 in a derby clash at the Estadio de la Ceramica in La Liga. One of the victims “suffered a fractured jaw and the loss of a tooth and needed surgery,” said the police in a statement. The police arrested two 20-year-old males on Saturday. Valencia said if their fans were identified as having committed it they would be banned from coming to their Mestalla stadium.
