LAHORE: Lahore Region Blues continued their dominant run in the National Under-15 Cricket Tournament with a resounding 230-run victory over Quetta Region, their third consecutive win in the tournament, securing their top position in the group.
Batting first, Lahore Region Blues posted a formidable 326 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 45 overs. Mahd Ali led the charge with a century (105 runs), while Faizan Rasool contributed a solid 57. Azan Ali (48), Yaqoob Khan (39), and Shehryar Bhatti (27) also chipped in with valuable runs. Mohammad Mudassar picked up 2 wickets for Quetta Region.
Chasing a challenging target, Quetta Region struggled against the disciplined Lahore Blues bowling attack and were bundled out for a mere 96 runs. Abu Bakar top-scored with 39 runs. Iman Tahir and Mohammad Ehsan were the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 wickets each, while Yaqoob Khan and Sikandar Ali grabbed 2 wickets apiece.
