Dutch, German hockey clubs depart Pakistan

LAHORE: Following their participation in the Prime Minister Youth International hockey series, the Dutch and German hockey clubs have returned to their respective countries. The Netherlands’ HGC club emerged victorious in this historic four-team series while the Prime Minister Youth HEC team secured the runners-up trophy.

German hockey legend Stephen Blocher and the visiting players affirmed that their days in Pakistan would remain cherished memories. They expressed gratitude to the Dutch and German embassies in Islamabad for their exceptional care, noting that the ambassadors and other officials were supportive throughout their stay.

They thanked them for making the tour exemplary in every way. They recounted their hockey experience along with tours of inner Lahore, expressing amazement at the beauty of the Governor House.
