Robbers take away cash worth millions

LAHORE: A family was deprived of both Pakistani and foreign currency worth millions in the limits of Township police on Sunday.

The victim, Bilal Sharif Ghauri, a resident of Revenue Employees Society, filed a complaint stating that he was on his way home along with his sister when the incident occurred. They were intercepted by two armed robbers in a car near the Township area. The robbers, at gunpoint, took the victims hostage and stole their valuables.

Bilal reported that the robbers snatched his wallet, which contained a sum of Rs2 lakh along with his identification documents and ATM cards. Additionally, the robbers took 1,200 pounds sterling from his sister’s possession.Township police registered a case based on Bilal’s complaint.
