It’s not the judges’ transfer scheme but the timing and the approach that makes the process unpleasant, distasteful and ugly. This controversy is primarily a reflection of the strained relationship between the government and the opposition, which once again gained momentum after the termination of talks between both sides. This results in severe polarisation everywhere in society. It is imperative for all stakeholders to put their egos aside and come together for the sake of Pakistan.
