Chaos and mayhem have ruled Lakki Marwat District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the last year-and-a-half. People are being looted on the roads by unknown armed men in broad daylight and kidnapping and firing incidents have also become common.
It seems as if law and order is not the main concern of the provincial government as it is either entangled in its own intra-party wrangling or bickeing with the federal government over non serious issues.
