The interior minister, in his role as PCB chairman, is making every possible effort to ensure that the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy becomes a resounding success for Pakistan. His dedication to hosting this prestigious tournament is commendable and deserves appreciation.
However, while we acknowledge and support these efforts, there is a deep sense of disappointment among the people of Peshawar. The exclusion of our city from this grand event has left us feeling deprived. Peshawar, with its passionate cricket fans and rich sporting heritage, deserved to be part of this historic occasion.
