LAHORE: Former chief justice of Pakistan Justice (retd) Irshad Hassan Khan has strongly denied the news that he had a washroom conversation with former US president Bill Clinton in which he assured him that Nawaz Sharif would not be executed. He said Clinton went to the washroom and he also went there, but there was no talk on the way or in the washroom hall. The former CJP said there was no justification for having this sort of conversation in the washroom when this could have been done at the table. He said he and Clinton did have a private conversation but there was no mention of Nawaz Sharif’s sentencing in it. He further stated that Dr Nasim Ashraf’s alleged revelations (in his upcoming book) are fiction, not facts.
