Joining the league of films releasing this year is Jawad Bashir’s romantic comedy Teri Meri Love Story that stars Bachaana actor Mohib Mirza, Ushna Shah (of Bashar Momin fame) and model-turned-actor Omer Shahzad, in a love triangle.
The shooting for the film, which is expected to release Eid-ul-Azha this year, has wrapped up and the film’s cast took to social media and shared pictures from the celebratory wrap-up party.
The female lead, Shah recently posted a selfie with her co-stars, Omer Shehzad, Mohsin Abbas Haider, Uzma Khan and Ahmed Abdul Rehman on popular picture-sharing site Instagram and captioned the photo: “Wrapped my final shoot of Teri Meri Love Story.”
Sharing her experience of working in the film, Shah wrote, “It has been an honour and pleasure to work with this team. [I] will miss these beautiful and incredibly talented people so much.”
Teri Meri Love Story revolves around the character of Esha (Ushna Shah), a TV host who embarks on an adventurous shooting assignment accompanied by her shooting crew and friends. She is an empowered young woman who “falls in love with two people, sort of”, Shah told Instep in an earlier conversation.
Rup Magon of Josh has lent his voice to the title track of the film and will be making his film soundtrack debut which lends this film some more weight, at least musically. Shot entirely in Pakistan, Teri Meri Love Story also includes veteran actors Salman Shahid and Leyla Zuberi.
