KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah held a farewell meeting with outgoing British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi Sarah Mooney at the CM House on Thursday.
During the meeting, Shah praised the diplomatic services of the outgoing British deputy high commissioner. The British diplomat expressed her gratitude to the CM for extending support to her during her posting in Karachi.
The CM said the ties between Pakistan and the UK had been growing. The two agreed to continue working to strengthen the ties between the two friendly nations.
The British deputy high commissioner thanked the Sindh government for its support and hospitality. The CM praised the UK for extending support to ongoing development projects in Sindh. The two discussed possible UK-Pakistan cooperation in the fields of education, health, and development sectors. The CM presented an official shield, Ajrak, and other gifts to Sarah Mooney.
