This letter refers to the news report ‘NAB warns public about fraud and forgery’ (December 15, 2024). The people have been warned to avoid promises of unrealistic rewards from investments, illegal deposits and private loan apps, online employment/visa frauds, online lotteries, and fake insurance coverage offers.
The financial authorities have issued similar warnings before. They should also ensure that those unfortunate enough to fall for any scams can access help.
