During the summer, when demand for power is usually on the higher side, K-Electric was charging increased rates against fuel adjustment charges (FCA) to the tune of Rs5.0 or Rs6.0 per unit.
Now that winter is here and the power demand has declined, KE is only offering refunds of around Rs0.2 per unit. Such ruthless and opportunistic business practices are quite regrettable.
