Recently, I was on a university-organised visit to a hospital in the Westridge area of Rawalpindi. When we entered, I saw a wheelchair that had been refitted with a plastic chair. This would make it extremely uncomfortable for patients, making it quite unacceptable.
Furthermore, when some female students visited the women’s ward, they witnessed an attendant displaying rude behaviour towards a patient. Additionally, all the testing machines and equipment had outdated manuals. Hopefully, this letter will bring these problems to the attention of the higher authorities and they will take action.
