I was travelling from Lahore to Islamabad and stopped at a rest area on the motorway to take a break. I bought chips and a cold drink from a shop, but I was shocked to find that the prices were inflated. The chips, normally Rs30, cost me Rs120. I found this unacceptable.
As I continued my journey, I noticed that the cold drink tasted strange. I checked the expiry date and found that it had expired four months ago. The food authorities should conduct inspections and seal shops that sell expired and overpriced products.
