ISLAMABAD: In anticipation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) planned protest in the federal capital on November 24, the Ministry of Interior has approved deployment of Rangers and Frontier Constabulary (FC) to assist the federal police.
After a formal request from the Islamabad chief commissioner, citing concerns over public safety and potential disruptions, an official notification has been issued, granting Rangers and FC powers under the Anti-Terrorism Act to ensure peace and order during the protest.
