ISLAMABAD: The annual elections of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) will be held today (Tuesday) wherein some 4,021 lawyers will exercise their right to franchise across the country.
Mian Muhammad Rauf from the Independent Group and Munir Ahmed Kakar from the Professional Group will contest the slot of president while Malik Zahid Aslam Awan from the Independent Group and Salman Mansoor from the Professional Group will be in the field for the slot of secretary.
The polling will start from 8:30am and continue till 5pm. In Lahore, some 1,404 lawyers will cast their votes. As per tradition, the final results will be announced in Lahore.
