Do you like to try out different meaty recipes? Well, you are in luck as this week You! has collaborated with Yang Jia Vu, Chinese Master Chef at Lotus Court, Movenpick Hotel, Karachi, to bring an authentic Chinese recipe of ‘Mutton cumin seeds’. INGREDIENTS

Mutton (cut in strips) 170 gms

Onion (sliced) 50 gms

Coriander fresh 20 gms

Garlic (chopped) 10 gms

Cumin seeds (fried) 05 gms

Sichuan pepper 03 gms

Dried chilli 03 gms

Salt 02 gms

Soya sauce 04 ml

Spring onion (for garnishing) 30 gms

Oil as required

METHOD

Heat the wok and add oil.

Then add the chilli and cumin. Stir fry till the chilli turns brown.

Now add the mutton strips and stir fry for around three minutes.

Then add the chopped garlic and sliced onion. Stir fry for a while.

When the meat is tender, add the soya sauce and coriander. Mix well.

Take out the dish into platter, garnish with spring onions and serve hot.

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes Serves: 1
