Loadshedding is one of the most crucial problems that almost every citizen has to face. The duration of loadshedding can reach up to 12 hours in some areas. This problem has arisen due to the poor maintenance and management of our power infrastructure.
Those with the wealth to afford a generator, a UPS or solar panels can arguably cope with this problem, but the less privileged have no protection whatsoever. I hope that this situation will be addressed soon.
