The Lahore High Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of petition against a ban on film Maalik for June 02 for further arguments.

Appearing before the court, counsels for petitioner Munir Ahmed and Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, the Opposition Leader, submitted that the ban on the film was a violation of fundamental rights of citizens and the film had already been granted universal certificate issued from censor board which meant that the content was worth watching and there was no objectionable content in it. They argued that the ban on film Maalik was a violation of law.
