People in Pakistan are paying high prices for locally manufactured vehicles while imported vehicles from the same company often cost less and have more safety and other advanced features. What kind of logic can explain this phenomenon? Is there any government organization that is creating a standard for safety and advanced features that car manufacturers should follow and is any institution enforcing these standards?
Which government agency is checking if the prices of locally manufactured vehicles are justified given their features? If there is no organization doing such checking then I request the media to look into the features, especially safety features, and costs of locally manufactured vehicles.
