Shaheens off to winning start in Darwin

LAHORE: Pakistan Shaheens have kicked off their white-ball tour of Australia on a positive note, securing a four-wicket victory over Northern Territory Strike. The match, played at the Gardens Oval in Darwin, saw impressive performances from Mubasir Khan and Jahandad Khan.

The duo shared seven wickets between them, with Jahandad claiming four crucial scalps for 26 runs. Mubasir chipped in with three wickets, conceding just 18 runs. Despite a shaky start in the chase, Mubasir’s unbeaten 32 and a crucial 18-run partnership with Jahandad guided Shaheens to victory. Earlier, Northern Territory Strike managed to post a total of 142 runs, with Jagadeswara Koduru top-scoring with 59.
