LAHORE: Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik has ended his illustrious international cricket career.
The veteran all-rounder, who made his debut in 1999, revealed his decision in an interview. While Malik had retired from Test and ODI cricket, he has now indicated a loss of interest in representing Pakistan in the T20 format. Despite his impressive performances in domestic leagues, the lack of opportunities in the national team has led to his decision. Shoaib Malik represented Pakistan in 35 tests, 287 ODIs and 124 T20Is. He scored over 11,000 runs across three formats and took 218 wickets.
