Afghan refugees stay extended for a year

Ministry has extended period of registration card of Afghan refugees

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has extended the period of stay of registered Afghan refugees living across the country by one year.

In the light of the decision of the Federal Cabinet, the Ministry of States and Frontier Regions has issued a notification. The ministry has extended the period of registration card of Afghan refugees. According to the notification, the extension will be applicable from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. The extension of POR will apply to registered Afghan refugees residing in Pakistan.
