BRCZ’s woes

Balochistan Residential College, Zhob (BRCZ) is a well-reputed boarding institute which plays a very significant role in imparting quality education to students hailing from the rural areas of Balochistan. However, since its establishment in 2016, the institute has been beset with a number of problems ranging from dearth of teaching staff and lack of proper infrastructure to poor security. The college management has temporarily hired several subject specialists on a daily-wage basis until regular teachers are recruited against the vacant posts by the provincial education department.

Likewise, academic blocks and hostels are still incomplete despite the lapse of over six years. The government also needs to increase and tighten security of the residential institute as over 400 students and teachers are residing inside the campus. I hope the provincial government, especially the education department, pays heed to these important problems and takes immediate steps for their early solution.
