ISLAMABAD: In a twist of events, the Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) on Tuesday kept distance from the dissent voices within the PPP with regard to government announced decision for banning the PTI and said all those PPP leaders made statements on this issue are their personal opinion not a party policy and the party policy only after consultations on this issue.
Bokhari on Tuesday in a statement said the PPP issues its position only through its spokesperson or concerned persons and the party leadership will give its opinion only after consultation.
However, in his statement Bokhari mentioned only the name of Farhatullah Babar, who is former Secretary General of PPP Parliamentarians and said that the Farhatullah Babar’s tweet against the federal government’s decision is his personal opinion. “Farhatullah Babar’s tweet is not party policy,” he mentioned.
