Global warming poses a huge threat to our environment and many or most countries are neglecting this problem. This is despite the massive amounts of pollution and constant natural disasters and extreme weather that the world is dealing with. The ongoing heat wave in Karachi and other parts of the country is a sign of what is to come. Things could get even worse in the coming years unless we take urgent action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and transition to clean energy.
While it is important to act as a country, we must also realize that this is not a problem that any country can solve alone. Without international cooperation and higher environmental and emissions standards on a global level, it will be hard to end global warming.
