To kick-off the new fiscal year, the authorities have increased petrol and diesel prices by Rs7.45 and Rs9.56 per litre respectively. Other essential items such as vegetables and pure milk have also become more expensive in the markets.
The government should reduce the prices of these items so that people can afford them.
