Gender disparity in education remains a persistent issue in Pakistan, with girls facing significant barriers in access to education. Societal pressure and norms, a lack of basic facilities, especially in rural areas, and poverty are among the main factors which contribute to gender disparity.
To address this issue, policymakers should prioritize provision of basic facilities and expand access to quality education, especially for girls from low-income backgrounds.
