KARACHI: Pakistan’s world junior champion Hamza Khan will defend his title at the WSF World Junior Squash Championships that is to be held at Houston Squash Club, United States, from July 12-23. The organisers have confirmed the entries of almost 250 of the world’s best junior squash players in the individual events for men’s and women’s at this prestigious championship.
In the men’s draw, Pakistan’s Hamza Khan returns to defend his title, with Egypt’s Mohamed Zakaria, who lost out to Khan in last year’s final, Colombia’s Pan American U19 Champion Juan Torres and Egypt’s Marwan Assal - younger brother to former World No.1 and two-time World Junior Champion Mostafa Asal - among those joining him. Besides Hamza, other players from Pakistan participating in this championship include Anas Ali Shah, Abdullah Nawaz, Huzaifa Ibrahim, Sana Bahadar, M Ammad, and Mehwish Ali.
