In one scene aboard Moana's traditional Polynesian boat, known as a wa'a kaulua, tranquility is interrupted by a sudden surprise.
A mischievous shark bursts from the water's surface, morphing into a bird mid-flight, before assuming the familiar form of Maui, portrayed as muscular and tattooed just like Dwayne.
Landing on the boat's deck, Maui's unexpected appearance leaves Moana both astonished and elated.
However, her loyal companions, Pua and Hei Hei, may not share the same enthusiasm as Maui jokingly refers to them as a potential 'boat snack' of 'bacon and eggs.'
