ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has raided the offices of Bahria Town Rawalpindi in connection with Al-Qadir Trust University case and £190 million National Crime Agency (NCA) settlement scam, and took all the records of the Bahria Town into custody.

During the raid, Punjab police and elite force teams cordoned off the Bahria town offices as the NAB team was examining the documents and records that were collected during the raid.

According to sources, the NAB team questioned the staff of the housing society in the office with regard records of Al-Qadir Trust University and £190 million NCA settlement scam.

The NAB team, later, sealed the Bahria Town offices. According to eyewitnesses, the police also sealed the roads leading to Bahria Town offices.

However, reacting to the raid, Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz Hussain said on ‘X’, that he would bear all hardships and not become “an approver”.
