WhatsApp is working on a latest feature which will allow users to easily get insights for their channels by providing them with important analytics in order to better understand their audience.
Meta-owned app’s new channel analytics feature is currently in making, however, it will be available in the future update of the WhatsApp Web, according to WABetaInfo.
Making users better understand their audience and content performance, WhatsApp is seeking a new section to permit channel owners to see insights for their channel.
This comprises the number of unique viewers who have seen any of the channel updates at least once by excluding multiple views by the same users.
Moreover, it also marks countries with the highest numbers of reached accounts. It will also allow users to make a right guess of where their content is most popular, so that they make their content strategies accordingly.
Additionally, WhatsApp’s upcoming channel analytics feature will also display the net change in followers over the last 30 days. The Meta app will do so in the form of a calculation by subtracting the number of people who unfollowed the channel or deleted their account from the number of new followers.
Based on audience preferences and geographic data, these insights will help channel users to optimise their content strategies.
Users will be required to enable feature manually through app settings
