Star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has done what he does best, which is to set new records.

The former Real Madrid Manchester United player scored two goals, leading Al Nassr to victory against Al-Ittehad in the final league game of the season on Monday.

Al Nassr won 4-2.

The 39-year-old’s double in the game has led him to become the top scorer in a single Saudi Pro League season.

He has set a record for scoring 35 goals in 31 games.

The Portuguese player also took his personal goal tally to 50 in the 2023-24 season for Al Nassr.

The team also breached the 100-goal mark in the league for the first time in their history.

Ronaldo, sharing his achievement with fans on social media, shared a collage of his pictures made by the Saudi Pro League (SPL), which said, "All-time top scorer in a single SPL season."

Sharing the image, Ronaldo wrote underneath, "I don't follow the records; the records follow me."

Ronaldo has been in contract with Al Nassr since January 2023. He is now just seven goals away from bringing the total number of his career goals to 900.
