LAHORE/PESHAWAR: The PTI founder is fighting to hide his thefts instead of serving the nation. In the most serious cases, the courts are allowing daily meetings with the imprisoned criminals. Other prisoners are also objecting to the facilities provided to the PTI founder.

These views were expressed by Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari while giving a rebuttal to Barrister Saif’s statement on Saturday.

She said the PTI founder and his party leaders are spreading hatred and incitement daily. The Punjab government will no longer allow this propaganda to spread. Mian Nawaz Sharif had been imprisoned in Adiala and Kot Lakhpat jails and was allowed to meet visitors only once a week.

The PTI founder is undergoing imprisonment on charges of theft of precious gifts, watches, solemnising marriage during the Iddat period, displaying ciphers and the 190 million pound case. She said the PTI founder should stop repeating his narrative that the nation is with them. The nation has rejected the thieves of Toshakhana and rioters of May 9. The solitary confinement in jail has left the PTI founder mentally paralysed and deranged. Now, even in his dreams, day and night, he sees the Prime Minister’s House and government helicopters.

Meanwhile, Adviser to Chief Minister on Information Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif on Saturday said that fake Form-47 government was conspiring against former prime minister Imran Khan.

In a statement, he said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz had Imran Khan on the brain.

He was reacting to the Punjab cabinet’s approval to take legal action against Imran Khan. He said that the conspirators were afraid of the popularity of incarcerated leader Imran Khan. He said the Punjab chief minister wanted to harm the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman, adding that Imran Khan was not the one who would flee the country making lame excuse about platelets.

He said the Form-47 government was afraid of the release of Imran Khan. However, he said the Punjab chief minister could not succeed in her designs. He said that Imran Khan would emerge stronger no matter how much force was used to suppress him. Imran Khan was facing jail for the sake of the nation, he claimed.
