Two police officials transferred

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has placed services of a BS-19 officer of Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) Lt Commander (R) Yasir Afridi at disposal of Ministry of Interior for further posting in the Islamabad Capital Territory Police.


Yasir Afridi, presently was serving in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

A BS-18 officer of PSP Asad Ali currently serving in Islamabad Police has been appointed as Prime Minister’s Security Officer. Services of his predecessor Tasawwar Iqbal have been placed at disposal of Punjab Police.

Meanwhile, the prime minister has approved termination of contracts of two Digital Media Communication Officers including Ms Sumbal Bint Ehsan and Shaharyar Khan in MP-III scales in Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Secretary Standards and Quality Control Authority Karachi Jamil Ahmad has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary Establishment Division.
