ISLAMABAD: India beat Pakistan 2-0 to win the ATF 12 & under Team Competition in Nepal on Friday. Despite the loss, Pakistan made it to the next round of the regional event to take place in Kazakhstan later this year. “The team’s overall performance was very good,” Mohammad Abid, the team coach, said. “The boys played exceptionally well throughout the tournament, making it to the final and qualifying for the World Championships. Unfortunately, we couldn’t overcome India in the final. We need to work harder, and Insha’Allah, we will perform very well in Kazakhstan,” he added.
