Government land worth billions has been encroached on by private housing societies across the country. Although actions have been taken against illegal settlements, they have failed to resolve the problem.
At a time when all quarters are trying their best to get Pakistan to stand on its own two feet, it is important to evict land grabbers from government lands. This is not going to be an easy job and will require the top-most officials to take the problem head-on.
