Islamabad:In a surprise move, Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Rubina Khalid, visited the BISP payment campsite near Pak-China Centre and the One Window Centre in G-7, Islamabad.

In cases of any deductions, she directed beneficiaries to immediately lodge complaints via the BISP helpline (0800-26477) or visit the BISP office. Mrs. Khalid highlighted the necessity of staff treating beneficiaries with respect and emphasized a zero-tolerance policy for misconduct. She actively monitored the payment process and personally supervised a payment to an elderly beneficiary. She motivated staff by stating, "Performing your duties with full honesty will earn you JANNAT."

The chairman during her visit, she expressed concerns about the slowness of the payment mechanism and instructed staff to resolve connectivity and device issues with banks.
