Mirpur Khas, Sindh has long been affected by environmental challenges. Extreme weather events such as heatwaves, droughts, and flooding are frequently experienced. In response to these challenges, local initiatives should be taken including the implementation of early warning systems and disaster-preparedness training.
Strengthening infrastructure resilience and improving coordination with relevant authorities can also help reduce the impact of natural disasters.
