AMBALA: Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi addressed Bharatiya Janata Party’s Vijay Sankalp rally in Ambala city on Saturday and sought votes for his party candidates fielded in three Northern Haryana Lok Sabha seats - Banto Kataria in Ambala, Naveen Jindal in Kurukshetra and Manohar Lal Khattar in Karnal.

PM Modi reached the rally venue at police lines ground in Ambala city nearly at 3 pm, where he strongly targeted Congress and INDIA alliance members.

Greeting the gathering, PM Modi said he has come to take people’s blessings for the next five years.

“I am thankful for your overwhelming response. Today is the death anniversary of my old friend Rattan Lal Kataria Ji (late Ambala MP). I pay tribute to him, who worked closely with me in the government. Haryana means courage and Haryana is dhakad (strong). Modi ran Haryana like dhakad government for 10 years”, said PM Modi, while questioning the gathering if they feel proud when Rafale (fighter jet) fly in Ambala’s sky, to which they replied, ‘yes’.

“Only 17 days are left for June 4 (Lok Sabha election results day). In four phase elections so far, Congress and INDI alliance and all their members have lost in all four corners”, claimed PM Modi.

“Whatever tactics the INDI alliance did against the nation, the public defeated them in elections. Haryana is land which has patriotism in its veins and very well identifies anti-national forces, therefore, every house and village of Haryana is saying Fir Ek Bar Modi Sarkar”, said Modi.

The PM said that when there is a dhakad government in the country, the enemy thinks a hundred times before doing anything.

“Today, Pakistan, which troubled India for 70 years, kept bombshells in its hand and is having a begging bowl in its hand. Enemy shivers when dhakad government rules”, said PM Modi, questioning the gathering whether any weak government could have changed the situation in Jammu or Kashmir, which replied in ‘yes’.

“Remember Congress government, the brave mothers of Haryana remained in tension about terrorist attacks and stone pelting. Now in 10 years everything has stopped. Modi’s dhakad government dismantled the wall of 370 and Kashmir started walking on the path of development”, said the PM.
