Pakistan restricted England at 144 for six. Pakistan captain Nida Dar starred with the ball, taking two wickets and etching her name in history by becoming the leading wicket-taker in Women’s T20 Internationals with 137 scalps.

Waheeda Akhtar, Sadia Iqbal, and Diana Baig chipped in with a wicket each.

England’s innings were anchored by a 49-run partnership between Maia Bouchier and Alice Capsey (31 runs).

Nat Sciver-Brunt provided a late flourish with a quickfire 31 runs.

Pakistan crumbled in chase at 79 all out. Set a target of 145 runs, Pakistan’s batting faltered early, losing openers Gull Feroza and Sadaf Shamas cheaply.

Muneeba Ali (18 runs) and Aliya Riaz (16 runs) offered some resistance but were dismissed by Sophie Ecclestone and Sarah Glenn respectively.

The English spinners dominated, with Ecclestone taking three wickets, Glenn grabbing two, and Capsey chipping in with two scalps.
