Kevin Spacey slams#MeToo movement, calling it unfair: Here's why

Kevin Spacey has recently criticised #MeToo movement, calling it "unfair" as he defended himself against latest sexual misconduct allegations.

Earlier this month, the American Beauty star was lately accused in Channel 4 documentary Spacey Unmasked.

In a new interview to US network NewsNation, Kevin said, "I want to get back to work after learning from my experiences."

"I have paid a price for my mistakes," stated the actor on the Chris Cuomo show.

Kevin mentioned, "I’ve listened. I’ve learned. I’ve got the memo. I’m not going to behave in any way in the future that is questionable."

The actor further said, "I had spent the past seven years going into myself and having conversations with people I felt I owed amends to."

However, at a certain point, Kevin added, "I just want to get back to work."

"I feel very strongly that whatever mistakes I’ve made in my life, that I paid a price," he remarked.

Kevin also noted, "#MeToo movement had swung too far in the direction of unfairness and I would work hard to be uncancelled by the public."

I want to prove I’m a man of great character," he concluded.

For the unversed, Kevin was last year acquitted of a number of sexual offences alleged by four men in the UK to have taken place between 2001 and 2013.
